About the role

Manoah House Aged Care Facility is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated team. This full-time role will be based in Martin, WA 6110 and will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and implementing a diverse range of lifestyle activities to engage and stimulate residents
  • Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure activities align with individual resident needs and preferences
  • Maintaining detailed records and reports on resident participation and program outcomes
  • Fostering a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes resident wellbeing
  • Proactively engaging with residents, families, and staff to gather feedback and continuously improve the lifestyle program
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant aged care regulations and standards
  • Police clearance, or valid NDIS clearence required before commencement
  • Either National Police Check or valid NDIS clearance must be obtained before commencement

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle, Recreational Therapy, or a related field
  • Overseas qualifications are accepted if formally assessed as equivalent by relevant Australian authorities
  • Acceptable qualifications include Leisure Studies, Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Community Services
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the aged care sector
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A genuine passion for enriching the lives of older adults and a commitment to person-centred care
  • Knowledge of relevant aged care legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in the use of technology to support lifestyle programming and record-keeping
