IMPORTANT RESPIRATORY ILLNESS ANNOUNCEMENT

To all who visit Manoah House, we encourage you to sign in to the electronic tablet rather than the paper copy.

To enter Manoah, please utilise the front door of the facility, call the bell, undertake a RAT test and gain a negative result to enter Manaoh; we are working on ways to improve visiting inflow while maximising the safety of the residents.

WA’s State of Emergency has come to an end, which means the public health directions to manage COVID no longer apply. However, the Government has advised that organisations such as aged care providers should introduce their own policies and work, health and safety practices to manage the risk of exposure.

Whilst the mandates have been removed, there is still a high risk of COVID-19 outbreaks and other Respiratory illnesses like RSV and Influenza. Aged Care Facilities in and around Perth are experiencing further outbreaks.

If you have a cold or cough symptoms, get tested, follow directions, and refrain from visiting Manoah whilst unwell. Please refrain from visiting Manoah for 48 hours after symptoms have ceased, or if you are positive for COVID-19, please refrain from visiting for 7 days as you remain infectious during this time. If you are a close contact, we ask that you stay away for 5 days from the date of contact with the infectious person.
